OUR HISTORY
Since 2012
- In 2012, in a modest garage in California, two young fathers—Michael and Jay—set out with a simple but powerful idea: to create a more comfortable, cleaner, and safer interior space for their families.
- They noticed the common pain points of factory car seats and generic seat covers—rips, stains, bad odors, poor fit, and unsustainable materials. None of the available products on the market could truly meet the needs of families with kids or pets. So they decided to build something better—starting with just a few sewing machines, basic tools, and a shared commitment to change.
2012-2017
From 2012 to 2017, the brand grew steadily through constant trial and innovation. Michael and Jay focused on perfecting their craft—selecting better materials, improving fit, and studying the seat dimensions of thousands of car models. Slowly but surely, word spread, and their products began to gain real traction.
In 2017, they officially took the brand nationwide and began expanding to the global market. From Amazon and Walmart to eBay and beyond, our products started reaching customers across the U.S. and then overseas. Today, we ship to over 10 countries, including Canada, the UK, Germany, and Australia—bringing comfort and protection to drivers around the world.
2023 to Now
In 2023, EKR further expanded its offline presence. Our Los Angeles store continued to upgrade, supported by over 10,000 square feet of production space that integrates the entire process — from design, prototyping, cutting, and quality inspection to warehousing and logistics.
To date, we’ve built a professional team of over 300 members and established an independent product R&D department. We’ve developed precise fitment data for more than 10,000 vehicle models — covering sedans, SUVs, pickups, MPVs, and even buses and aircraft — ensuring every seat cover is “custom-fit with precision.”
